Seafood Cooking Classes & Demonstrations
Time: 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Place: 2021 Marine Drive, 2nd Floor Banquet Room, Astoria
Cost: $50 per person
Participants: 12 - 16
Our chefs are wild about West Coast seafood, and they love to share their enthusiasm and knowledge about how easy it is to prepare seafood at home! We believe that people learn best when they're having fun; consequently, we encourage an informal and relaxed atmosphere for our hands-on cooking classes. Our cooking classes always feature the best local seafood delicacies available. We supply the ingredients, aprons and recipes (and even wine!). Participants roll up their sleeves to help out with the prep work; then they gather around to watch the chefs put it all together before sitting down family-style to enjoy the reward. Our cooking classes are very popular, so reserve a spot well in advance.
We also offer private cooking classes for groups of 12 to 16 people. It's the same format, but you get to plan the menu and choose the day and time. Imagine the fun of getting together with 12 to 16 friends, coworkers and/or family members for a hands-on seafood cooking experience and feast! Several businesses have taken advantage of this as a team-building exercise. We've also hosted family reunions, birthday celebrations, and "Girls Night Out" gatherings. Whatever the reason, a private cooking class at The Seafood Center is an experience to remember.
